LIFE IP Peatlands and People Pillar 2's accelerator programme is now accepting applications. Accelerate Green offers participating companies the necessary tools, advice, mentoring, and community of expertise that will allow them to understand the opportunities of transitioning to a green, and low carbon economy, and how to overcome the obstacles that prevent scale.

The areas of focus underpin Accelerate Green’s ‘triple bottom-line’ approach, of:

• Accelerating impactful scale-ups & SMEs whose innovations drive the transition to a carbon zero economy;
• Stimulating a vibrant enterprise ecosystem, supporting sustainable, high-value employment opportunities in the Midlands region.
• Supporting high potential growth-driven companies whose innovations have potential to scale nationally and internationally.

A series of events are taking place before the application deadline on 10th December 2021, including:

These events are particularly useful for potential applicants:

• SMEs in climate, sustainability and circular sectors, or those that could pivot their products and services to this industry.
• Scaleups or very high potential start-ups approaching the sector.
• These companies who are operating with technology, engineering or science at their core.
• Who would benefit from a scaling accelerator (non-equity), supported by our partners in Bord na Mona.
