These workshops, organised by the Community Wetlands Forum/Irish Rural Link under their Connecting Communities with Peatlands project, will help community groups to assess their own training needs to engage with their local peatland

One aim of the project is to provide capacity-building training to community groups engaging with peatlands in the Midlands. In order for communities to get the most benefit from trainings, they are hosting self-assessment workshops in each of the Just Transition Midlands counties. The day-long workshops aim to support groups to assess their own training needs to begin, or continue, to engage with peatlands.
